They save a lot of space and can be used in a couple different ways, like I hung two upside down for hanging bows and clothes, and eventually I want them to be her dress up corner. The material is like a dense particle board and the finish has held up great. The screws it came with worked perfect in drywall and took me hardly anytime to hang. Came with a pilot hold pre measured strip too which was a nice surprise. So cute and very personalizable, hope this helped!

These were so easy to put together and hold a surprising amount of weight. The finish is great, I’ve used these for my son’s nursery and now my daughters.
