It was easy to put the two together. The Echo Show 8 device fits tight no problem moving around or picking up. I really enjoy the white color over my other device being black. The white stands out from around thing around it even other white objects. I have not used the charging part; forgot it was there. When I was buying my Echo Show 8, I was hoping there was a base it could set on. This stand is like a dream working greatly. This stand makes the device able to move easier and to pick up. I got both on the discount days.
