Review: Prey - Prey is a fiercely entertaining reinvention of the Predator franchise, being a period (1719) set Predator prequel directed by Dan Trachtenberg, starring Amber Midthunder as Naru, a Comanche warrior who faces a highly evolved Predator on the Great Plains. A fairly short film at approx 100 minutes, but it does maintain momentum with scenes of tracking and close quarters confrontation. Prey is one of the franchise’s best entries with NO SWEARING, so language is not a barrier for family viewing, but obviously contains frequent, graphic violence and bloody kills. Well worth watching.
