I just started eating grapefruit again after a long hiatus. Regular spoons do not cut it. These take the segments out perfectly without any hassle. Made well and sturdy too. Review: So many more uses than just grapefruit. Good quality and lasts a long time. - I have had these grapefruit spoons for 4 years, and they still look new. I don't use them much for grapefruit, but have found so many other uses for them. In addition to using them as a grapefruit spoon, they also work very well for: 1) Cleaning the seeds and membrane out of squash. I have used these spoons to clean out zucchini, yellow squash, acorn squash, spaghetti squash and more. The remove the seeds and membrane without removing a lot of the flesh. 2) Removing the seeds and inner membrane from tomatoes. I use these spoons to remove the inside of tomatoes for stuffed tomatoes.
