It contains water neomycin sulfate, methylene blue, proprietary polymer mixture, buffers, EDTA, malachite green chloride, cyanocobalamin and electolytes. My Betta was ill for weeks, and this bought him back. I now change his 2 gal. tank every week, and add 1/8 tsp of aquarium salt with each total water change. I also have a heater pad and filter in his tank. The temp stays around 80 degrees, and he seems to be thriving again. **Q: will this harm the good bacteria in my filter?** A: Hi! That is a good question. In all likelihood, it would probably kill all bacterias, good and bad---so, I would remove your filter pad/& "comb" while treating your fish--if possible. I didn't treat my Betta in his tank. I put him in a little isolation cup w/ a lid to treat him daily, along with 100% water changes every couple of days. He was so sick, he wasn't swimming around, anyway. I still can't believe that this stuff got him better. I honestly thought I had lost him!He's doing great to this very day!!! **Q: After just once use my betta has already perked up some :) but the package says to use for at least 3 days. Do I change the water every day first?** A: You definitely don't want to add more medicine without changing water - that will be an overdose for your delicate little fish. I'd recommend changing as much of the water as you can and completing the three day cycle. **Q: How much of this do you use? i have a 15 gallon tank. do i use the whole container? how often should i dispense it?** A: I believe it is 8 drops per gallon, you should replace daily for best results. However, since your tank is so large, I suggest putting you infected fish in a smaller tank, perhaps a gallon or a half gallon, and treat them there with the medicine. I hope this helps!
