It effectively cleanses and mildly exfoliates the skin. This cleanser also comes to a slight lather and is suitable for use on facial hair. **Q: Does this cleanser remove makeup in its cleansing process?** A: Yes the Fruit Enzyme Cleanser removes makeup as do all of the MyChelle cleansers.
