It looks pretty smart in a sort of rubberised finish which feels like it’s some sort of surface coating this could stop you losing your grip on it if you had damp hands. Charging is easy and straight forward with any usb charger and using the supplied lead. There are buttons under the speaker to control / chose tracks while playing from micro sd card which isn’t supplied. I think you could use this as a portable boom box for excercise or if you needed a remote speaker for mini presentations? I think most people would use this for listening to music though. The charge lasts quite a while but I have to admit that I haven’t paid much attention to how long that is in total (I have used it many times but not charged that often).
