## Description

Isolated at the South Pole with no communication with the rest of the world, a band of survivors discovers a Kharkovchanka snow tractor with three dead Russians inside. When the frozen Russians thaw out and attack them, they soon comprehend the reason for the eerie radio silence. Back to Antartica with another set of great characters, but still the occasional view of how those who have already fled the cold. As you read the book you can feel the two stories coming together as both sets of characters in Antartica and Australia have different bits of the jigsaw. Steve
