They are extremely prone to sun-fade and turn an unpleasant brown after only a few weeks in GA sun on the tail, but still work 100% here a couple months after purchase and install.The insulation is easier to get off than other budget strips I've worked with, as far as splicing smaller sections and soldering wiring onto, but some heat shrink and patience will give you as many lengths and styles as you need. I have some with wiring on the ends, and a couple on the center of the tail where the wiring is going in the middle of a length and has electrical insulation over the connection.They are very bright and look great, although strips from SuperBrightLEDs will have much better output. You will obviously need to buy some side of 2 pin connector and extra 22 gauge wiring, but it’s pretty straightforward since there’s only a positive and negative cable involved.The lights are bright so far and the insulation on the wires is surprisingly thick. Or at least it’s thicker than I would expect on this cheap of wire. Adhesive is working so far, even without cleaning the surface with any alcohol or any prep work.
