That's the cool thing about the webbing system; you can get creative based on the current use of the jeep. You'll modify the configuration based on if you are camping, going to the beach, off-roading or just as a daily driver. Obviously, just make sure when you attach items to weave the straps so they interlace, instead of just running the strap of the attachment through the base strap and snapping it. Otherwise you will have a less secure hold. Easy to install and it looks cool: 1. You can use Duct Tape to get the general idea what it will look like.. but have a friend PULL it tight before you mark the holes. You want this thing to be somewhat stretched out. THIS IS IMPORTANT, or it will and have slack in it. 2. Use a 9/64 bit to drill, as the others say if you don't its much harder with self tapping screws provided. Of course, It comes with self tapping screws so you really don't need to pre drill your holes, If you need it. 3. Unbolt the tailgate hinge bolts as your starting point. One bolt will lineup with one of the holes on the back piece. 4. You'll have to pop a hole for the second bolt. Work from top to bottom, left to right pulling tight as you go and screw it in. That's it. Seriously... That's all you have to do. 5. When you are ready to put it back together, you will notice that the metal retainer for the back door seems immovable... it's not, just needs the weight of the door for it to move. Just bolt it back on straight and slowly close the door, you will see it works fine.
