Prime dosage is 1mL per 10g. You're wanting a total of 500mL to treat 5000g. For Safe, 1/4 of a teaspoon treats 300g. And, just to note, there are 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon. 5000/300=16.667 ||| .25tsp X 16.667 = 4.167 ||| 4.167/3=1.389So, 4.167 teaspoons in the 500mL bottle. Or for simplicity, 1.389 tablespoons. You could probably do 1 tablespoon and another 1/3 tablespoon aka a teaspoon.I've never made Safe so concentrated, you may need to use slightly warmed water to make sure everything gets saturated. Also always shake before you use it. **Q: if 5gr of safe treats 100gal then 250gr treats 5000gal, and 5ml of prime treats 50gal then 500ml treat 5000gal as well and its the same price** A: 1 gram of Safe treats of 200 gallons, 1 ml of Prime 10 gallons. 250 grams of Safe treats of 50,000 gallons, 500 ml of Prime 5,000 gallons.
