Review: Thought the battery was bad, but it’s actually good! - There’s a review that states the batteries are defective. The batteries do come in individual sealed plastic bags. When I put them on the charger one just stayed solid red for 4 hours then I just unplugged it, the other was flashing (red/green). I thought the exact same thing, but I checked the volts and out the box it has 17.3v on the battery. It has a safety that will stop battery output at like 16.3v So I had suspicion that the battery wasn’t bad but I still process a replacement on the Milwaukee website (http://milwaukeetool.com/service) Then a got bored, went over to the charger and aligned the battery then slammed it into the charger. Both batteries are charging now.
