The gimbal is incredibly sturdy and has pretty much every feature needed to take professionally stabilized footage. It has 3 axis stabilization as well as the ability to center and follow an object. The included carbon fiber monopod with tripod foot is lightweight and works great to place the gimbal on the ground to take ground footage. Many times, I'm following my clients and recording their movement. The footage would be shaky; this gimbal gets the video rock solid and I'm able to publish the professional footage that clearly shows my client's improvement through their training. There are some things to keep in mind. This is a professional gimbal and has a barrage of features that you can play with. I've only only used a handful that enabled me to take photo and videos while on a trail run - stabilization, pan, tilt, follow, etc. The gimbal isn't intended for a DSLR. I mounted my DSLR to see if it would work and there was just not enough clearance to properly mount it. My phone and action camera easily fit onto the camera. The mount is well thought out and doesn't accidentally press on the side buttons on your phone (see picture). One thing that annoyed me was the set screw for the mount. It requires an allen key (hex) to tighten. I ended up replacing this set screw with a common tripod mount set screw that doesn't require the hex tool to tighten.
