Review: Good OEM filter for my Ram - Grew tired of generic filters on my 2016 Ram 1500, so I went back to this Mopar one. I change my own oil in a small home studio garage where space is tight, and this fits the 5.7 Hemi without drama. Threads catch cleanly, gasket seats right away, and I do not have to fight leaks. I pair it with 5W-20 synthetic and run about 5,000 miles between changes. Last weekend I swapped it in before a client meeting and still made it on time. That little bit of peace of mind while hauling gear to shoots made me glad I stuck with the OEM part.

**Q: Whats the difference between this srt filter vs. the black mopar md-800? filter the auto parts store cpu recommended. 2014 charger super bee 6.4l**
A: This filter is designed by the SRT engineers for the SRT motors not sure about the md-800, that the auto parts store said to use , Mopar doesn't use a part numbering system like that so I don't think it is a Mopar filter

A: Your SRT uses a 04884899AC  filter

**Q: Is this recommended for 2017 Dodge Ram 6.4 L?**
A: it will fit your 2017 6.4

**Q: how do they stack up against the fram ph 2**
A: From what I've read, there's no comparison.  Most Viper techs or engine builders who work on Vipers or other SRT engines will tell you the SRT filters are the best you can get.
