I bought this set of 5 extra-large ice block molds specifically to use with a cold plunge tub, and they work very well. The blocks freeze solid, are easy to remove, and melt slowly, which helps keep the water cold much longer than regular ice cubes. However, if you're using these molds for cold water immersion therapy, I highly recommend getting at least 3 sets (15 blocks total). With just 5 blocks, the effect isn’t strong enough to significantly drop the water temperature or maintain it in the optimal cold range for long.
