Review: It's a great adapter if you can't do 8BitDo - I've owned one of these in the past. They're wonderful for the price point; they work on the original PS2 and they can also connect to PC provided you have a Micro-USB to USB-A cord to supply data and power (I'd love a revision to the hardware in the future to use USB-C instead). For using wired controllers on my PS2, it's absolutely what I need, and for wireless gamepads it works perfectly.

A: In addition to its compact appearance, the second generation also supports Bluetooth joysticks for XB one and XB Elite Series 2. Besides, there are 5-level turbo settings in the second generation while the first generation only has 1-level.

**Q: In what situations should I switch the adapter to XID mode?**
A: Players need to switch to XID mode only when the adapter is connected to computers to play games. When connecting to PS2, PS1 and PS Classic consoles, players are not required to switch to XID mode.

**Q: when I use the converter on PS2 and there's no response at all ?**
A: Please get another micro usb cable, plug it to Wingman PS2. For the other side of the cable, please plug it to the usb port on PS2 to supply additional power to the converter.

**Q: How to switch to Xinput?**
A: When Wingman PS2 is connected to PC, and the controller is connected to Wingman PS2, you can switch to Xinput by holding down SELECT + Dpad Down for about 2 seconds.

I've owned one of these in the past. It works very well and is extremely simple to use the only thing that I have run into with it is if something blocks the adapters path to the wireless controller you are using it can cause a disconnect so make sure nothing is in front of the adapter but if you have that problem you can simply connect a USB to it and it will work perfectly
