Well, I don't know if my head is huge or something but I really have trouble using them as turbans. They are just too small for that, and I have shoulder length hair. Anyone with longer hair would not be able to use it in that capacity. I barely eke out the turban and I secure them with a claw to get it to work after my shower. I would not be wandering around the house expecting it to stay on though and the size just isn't ideal to use them this way. So my bad that I miscalculated how big the towels needed to be to wrap around my fat head. I will be looking for something bigger but like I said, these towels will be very useful for other things and I will continue to use them for those purposes.
