Review: Awesome Shoe Glue - I’ve been using this brand of glue in Orthotics and Prosthetics for 15 years. It works. I needed a small bottle to keep at the house for my own personal shoe repairs. Perfect little companion to fix my kiddos shoes. Shake before use. Can use thinner or acetone to decrease viscosity. Small brush welded to cap. Paint on a generous layer to both pieces. Allow to dry to release all fumes. Heat with heat gun. Apply carefully because it’s sticky! Follow these steps for easy repairs to soling of shoes, padding, etc. Works very well.

It worked great at that and has excellent adhesion. Do work with this in a ventilated area, as the smell is quite strong and I hear it is not good to breathe in. Spread on both surfaces, let them dry a bit, and then I like to go over once again with a light coat and let that dry to be tacky. At that point, put the two together and apply pressure. For storage, I saw a recommendation that you can store this upside down to make it last longer, since it will prevent any air from getting to the glue and reacting with it. I then put this inside a cup to make sure if it does spill out, that it's caught.

**Q: Does the lid have a brush attached?**
A: Yes, the lid does have a brush

**Q: Is the 4oz size enough to glue rubber shoe soles back onto rubber sandals?**
A: The 4oz should be way more than adequate. Although, we use it for leather on leather and not on rubber. If you are gluing rubber to rubber, you may want to look into a different type of cement more adequate to glue rubber to rubber.

**Q: Will this glue a door jam to a concrete floor?**
A: This basically a super rubber cement, made for shoe soles, etc.  I use it for lots of uses and have great luck with it.  I wouldn't hesitate to try it on a door jam.

**Q: Will it glue down aloe jam to concrete?**
A: Why would one want to?
