Flexible Solutions International Inc. is an environmental technology company engaged in conserving energy and water using patented evaporation control products. Flexible Solutions was founded in 1989 with a single product designed to conserve water for the swimming pool market. The film-forming monolayer technology, invented by chemist and life-time conservationist, Dr. Robert O'Brien in 1985, remains unchallenged in its effectiveness. Twenty years later, our Company has successfully commercialized two energy conservation products for the pool industry. One is Heatsavr - a solar pool cover which reduces fuel costs for commercial pools by 15 - 40%. The other is Ecosavr (the same liquid pool cover in a 30 day dispenser) designed for the residential pool market. Both products are patent protected. Ecosavr is a small disposable plastic fish containing enough Heatsavr liquid to cover a backyard residential swimming pool of 400 square feet, or approximately 15,000 gallons, for 25 - 30 days. The product is dispensed through a patented valve in the fin. The liquid escapes, rises, and forms an invisible layer on the surface of the water. The Ecosavr acts as an evaporation inhibitor, much as a conventional solar blanket performs, except a lot easier to use.
