Contrary to some of the other reviews here, I didn't find assembly difficult at all. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and it took me only an hour from start to finish. Speaking of the top of the cabinet, I, carelessly, damaged the original top of mine a few weeks after it arrived. I reached out to Wermo's support via their website to see if I could buy a replacement top, and they replied right away offering to send a replacement piece at no cost.
