Review: If Apple made a popcorn popper it wouldn't be this nice. - This is a stunningly beautiful and well-made product that does exactly what it promises. It allows you to easily make top quality popcorn from home. I'm a huge popcorn nut and I've never seen anything else like this on the market. I've already made several batches with my family and we've devoured with delight. It's been fun to let my kids help and best of all, it's an opportunity to connect and do something fun as a family with a delicious outcome. Their popcorn kits make it super easy (the kettle corn in particular is delicious), but you can just make any popcorn you buy at the store work with it too. I'm already thinking of creative possibilities for add-ins and other seasonings. It's easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and works on my induction range. It's not too heavy, but clearly sturdy and high quality. It's so beautiful I've let it sit out on my counter to dress up my kitchen a little. :)
Review: Paint chips! Get the stainless steel version - Paint chips! I purchased my Popsmith cooker December 2025 and the paint is already scrached/chipped in multiple areas. While most of the scratches are minor I assume it will only worsen with time. I have used the cooker 5 times with the pre-measured kits. It has been hand washed and handled with care. I take very good care of my cookware and would’ve purchased the stainless steel version if I had known this. Overall this is a great cooker but I’m very disappointed with the finish.

This is a stunningly beautiful and well-made product that does exactly what it promises. It allows you to easily make top quality popcorn from home. Paint chips! I purchased my Popsmith cooker December 2025 and the paint is already scrached/chipped in multiple areas. While most of the scratches are minor I assume it will only worsen with time. I have used the cooker 5 times with the pre-measured kits. It has been hand washed and handled with care. I take very good care of my cookware and would’ve purchased the stainless steel version if I had known this. Overall this is a great cooker but I’m very disappointed with the finish.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Over hyped popcorn popper

I feel that the Popsmith 6 Quart Stovetop Popcorn Machine is overpriced. Not only that, but very heavy to handle, especially when cleaning. I understand that the stainless steel pot is much more sturdy and heat resistant than the standard aluminum poppers by other companies. It doesn't pop any better than other popcorn poppers (I have 6 other poppers to compare with, both oil and non-oil kind). I would recommend you purchase an air-popper brand because it is less messy than the poppers where you must use coconut oil to pop. If anyone wants my recommendations, just let me know. Save your money and spend about $45.00 for the aluminum popcorn popper or simply purchase any decent air-pop popcorn popper.
