I also use hair oil religiously, I wash my hair 1-2 times a week and I’ve been in the pool a lot this summer. So there’s a lot of build up on your hair. When I ordered this I had build up and my hair felt “sticky.” My hair oil was starting to “sit” on my hair rather than soak in and I just didn’t have a whole lot of “flow” to go with the waves. After using this my hair is slippery again and it feels lighter. It’s also DRINKING up my hair oil again, which I love (instead of it just sitting on top of my hair and weighing it down.) this shampoo stripped weeks of build up off my hair in the BEST way possible. It did lather but it wasn’t super bubbly for me and the formula is more runny than it is thick, so be aware of that.
