It is a fast-curing product with gelling of mixed adhesive in 5 to 6 minutes and fixturing in 9 to 10 minutes. Bonds hard and soft plastics to specified surfaces, and requires no primers. Sets in five minutes at room temperature, with a temperature range of -60 degrees Fahrenheit to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (-51C to 121C). Permanent strength up to 3500 PSI, and gap filling to 0.125 inches. This epoxy is water resistant, with good chemical resistance. The shell has give in that spot. Will it hold up to baggage handling?** A: If the hardshell has some good years of use ahead, I would give it a try. My experience with the product is that it held up very well in repairing a cracked door that gets a good deal of use. Only good if fresh shelf life bad. make sure you ruff things up to bond to your piping or what ever. **Q: can this be used to fill in deep scrapes in a bumper?** A: I don't think I would use it for that. This epoxy will harden to a durable hard plastic, much like ABS. Although it does have some elasticity it's really designed for more rigid applications than a typical bumper cover. This is great for repairing things like cracked or broken plastic as might be found in car dashboards or appliances.
