One thing that really impressed both of us is how the car lights up—it has multiple colors and LED headlights, so my son can even enjoy playing with it in the dark. Out of the 3 I bought around this price, this one is the closest to its advertised speed. Nephews played with it for a good 20 minutes before it needed a battery swap/charge. Throttle is not variable, so its either 0% or 100% throttle, and the steering isn't great, but for the price, this is probably one of the best toy grade rc cars under 40$
