However, it's awesome. It doesn't require batteries to operate, has a magnetic backing, or you can just stand it on your night stand table. When it hits the zero mark, it rings for about 3 seconds (as long as you make sure to wind it to the 55 minute mark first and then bring it back to your time marker counter clock wise).
