I first purchased humane ones, all the rodent did was pose on it for the camera. after trying all different lures (peanut butter, chocolate. jam etc) then purchased to the elecrtifies ones, once again, the rodent enjoyed sitting on top of it as though I purchased a toy for it. Finaly I purchased this one with the wax blocks. Three days later and Roland was no more. I felt bad, but the job was done. over the course of 3 months, this little mouse turned into a big rat with a passion for tea lights! Now all the traps are in storage hoping I never need them again. Review: So a complete waste of my time to go onto the manufacturers website ... - Once again, another item received from desertcart without instructions for use. Its clear that it needs a key to open the box however, the key to open the box is contained WITHIN THE BOX and there's no instructions on how to open the box. So a complete waste of my time to go onto the manufacturers website to try and find out what to do, only to find that their website is in French and no instructions on how to open the box are there.
