L’appairage est toujours aussi simple, la réactivité est excellente et le capteur de luminosité en plus du mouvement permet d’affiner les automatisations (par exemple allumer une lampe uniquement quand il fait vraiment sombre). Le support du standard Matter et du protocole Thread est un vrai atout : cela garantit non seulement de meilleures performances avec un réseau maillé stable, mais aussi une interopérabilité avec d’autres plateformes si jamais on décide de sortir un jour du 100% Apple (j'ai d'ailleurs pu l'ajouter à d'autres hubs dont le M3 de la marque Aqara). La conception inspire confiance et le produit est robuste. Il est possible de modifier la sensibilité du capteur (selon trois niveaux) et il est également possible de modifier la durée de détection (pendant combien de temps le capteur estime qu'il y a présence après la détection initiale) via l'application du constructeur. I have a Google Nest screen acting as a Thread Border Router. It works very well in both Google Home and Home Assistant. It is obviously much more responsive in Home Assistant since all all the communications stay within the house. The illuminance sensor seems to "bottom out" at 1 lux before the room is in full darkness and never goes below 1, even in complete darkness. This slightly limits the options for automations that involve turning on lights when the room is dark. I dinged it one star for the lack of thought given to mounting options. All there is is a keyhole-shaped cutout for a screw head (and even that it pretty shallow and small, so you will need exactly the right screw). I had to improvise my own mount with a piece of wood. Just be sure to temporarily disable your 5GHz Wi-Fi during setup for a smoother (not completely pain free!) pairing process. I use it to automate lights based on presence detection, and it works reliably. While Apple Home offers straightforward automation, the Eve app unlocks deeper customisation.
