The tolerances were very tight and did cause a void where the relief was too close to the routing. Once installed and adjusted it rolls great and quietly and the soft close manage to work with this lage door. I would recommend that you have a door that is at least 1 1/2” thick with 3” of solid wood on the vertically on top and bottom. Working with a hollow core door is not impossible but not for the faint of heart and requires advance planing to avoid mistakes. Definitely not for a rookie.
