Leakage complaints in the review section suggestthey aren't but then people are sharing pictures with flour inside it.** A: Can't test 'Air Tightness' but have tested with water and if water leaks out then its reasonable that air can seep in. Yes they leak! The TEST: Half filled them with water and tipped them on their side and they leak. The side with the clip seems better but the sides without clips water pours out. Apparently they used to have 4 clips some years ago! However, LOCK & LOCK brand have a one piece injection molded top with four clips built in, but they aren't any better!!!! Sistema have a special range for Storing flour etc with special seals, and come with a scoop, but are soooo expensive! **Q: Useless unless there are dimensions in mm for a single box. Not everyone stores liquid in them, 95% don’t!
