The tone is almost Catholic, which is a curious thing i have noticed with theistic Satanist. I sometimes wonder if theistic Satanism is actually a sort of Vama Marga Catholicism of sexual yoga in contrast to the Vatican's Dakshina Marga asexual devotion, because of the tone of worship. But i digress...Part ii has the tools and rites of Satanic magick outlined. Experienced readers will recognize these rites from the written works of Lavey, Susej, Jantsang, Robury, Myatt/ONA, and other sources. One may either have a response of 'been there done that' or one may instead look at this as being a one-stop shop of the best parts of other books and articles in one convenient place.This book suits newcomers. For a newcomer, Nacht has saved you many months of time in putting this information directly in one place; you would do very well to simply practice what is already here. If you are especially keen to start and want to skip even the slim introductions, Part ii is waiting for you. Many magic guides discourage beginners from jumping in with both feet but this book does the opposite. For the impatient, finally there is a grammar that will let you get on with the ritual and not bore you to tears with longwinded mystical claptrap. For that benefit alone i have to add an extra star to my rating.Truth be told, if you have no intention of practicing Satanic Magic, you will be disappointed here. This is a DOER'S manual, it is not entertainment reading. The one who will get the most value from this book is the eager Satanic newcomer who's ready to begin NOW - and possibly the Satanic beginner/intermediate who got lost along the way and wants to get out of theory and back into practice. Know-it-alls, doubters of every kind, armchair students, xian/kabbalist/wiccan, and nonbelievers: do yourself a favor and move on. There is nothing here for you.My personal rating of the degree of effectiveness in reading Satanic lit is the temperature change while reading the material. Whenever i do any paranormal work spiritual forces announce themselves to me with a slight temperature change. I felt one while reading this book which lets me know it has spiritual power for those who actually follow the instructions. From me to you imo, this book is legit.
