Product Description ------------------- The Hyundai HY2000SEi is the remote and electric start version of the popular HY2000Si model. This is the same as the HY2000Si inverter generator but comes with the added feature of being able to start the unit via a key in the unit itself or from a distance of up to 20 metres with the key fob. This makes the HY2000SEi even more convenient to use and is ideal for camping, boating, caravanning or motorhome trips where you will require power on a regular basis. You will find that the HY2000SEi is the preferred version of the model on cold nights and mornings when venturing out from the comfort of your bed is not ideal. This remote start feature is the only difference in specification from the HY2000Si model, as the HY2000SEi powered by the Hyundai HX125 4.9hp engine and produces up to 2.2kW. The Hyundai design is focused on a lightweight form factor and the casing is very compact for easy transport and storage. This model can be easily taken on any holiday or trip without fear of taking up too much space. As with all other Hyundai inverter generators, the HY2000SEi uses pure sine wave technology to enable the safe use of sensitive electronic equipment, such as laptops, mobile phone chargers and televisions. This is achieved by mimicking the power produced by the mains supply. With a 4.5 litre fuel tank this Hyundai generator can run for up to 9 hours, and when the "ECO" mode is engaged the engine will control the revs to match the produce only the a of power which is currently required. This helps improve fuel efficiency even further while also lowering the noise produced and increasing the overall lifespan of the unit. The HY2000SEi produces a noise level of 58dBA at 7 metres, which makes it the perfect generator for use on campsites and similar areas where noise regulations are important. Like all other inverter generators in the Hyundai range, the HY2000SEi can be modified to run on LPG, a convenient feature for those who already use LPG for their camping, caravan or motorhome needs.
