Within a very short time the "Velcro" becomes so weak as to be ineffective at holding onto sanding discs. I am greatly surprised the Makita would produce such an item, given their normally high manufacturing standard. I have carefully removed the Makita Velcro layer and replace it with a self adhesive Velcro (also purchased on desertcart). The original conversion finally gave way after I had sanded the walls, ceilings and doors of 6 rooms.
