I decided to take on the timing on my Jaguar myself, and I was relieved to find that I didn't have to find and rent tools or put out enormous sums for the tools direct from Jaguar. The repair went perfectly, and the set worked without a fault at all. The aesthetics such as the finish on these tools is typical of a budget type tool vs. a professional tool intended to being used many, many times- but the cost savings make up for it. Save well over a thousand in labor costs and bond with your Jaguar at home... now I'm considering a Range Rover that might be due for a belt if I can get it really cheap and do the service at home. This is a very specialized tool. I'm just glad somebody makes it for an affordable price. The case is good enough. The slide hammer feels like it's pretty good steel. Everything else is great for a low use tool.
