I found this jacket it was great for the price the color I needed. She normally wears a small in men's or women's because she is tall for her age but I opted to get a medium thinking that maybe it was still fit next year however it fit perfect so I would get one size up then what you normally get. I love the fact it comes with a bag to put it in for mornings that when it's really cold outside but yet it warms up during the afternoon I don't have to worry about her trying to keep up with her jacket or poking it in her book bag getting wrinkled. She can put it in the bag it comes with it doesn't get wrinkled, it's waterproof, is very warm, but yet it's light. I see some people complaining about the zipper I don't see what the big deal is as long as the jacket works and keeps you warm and does what it's supposed to do I can think of a lot of things that are worse to complain about. I wanted a light weight packable layer I could wear into the woods and not worry about rips and tears. That ruled out the $250 and up jackets! This is perfect. 20 bucks and it checks all the boxes. It does run a smidgen small. I usually am comfortable in an XL. This XL fits but no real extra room. The zipper is actually on the other side but it does not affect anything. The description includes "packable". I laughed when I say the attached cinch bag. My experience with other jackets made me look to the inside pockets. I was able to turn the entire jacket into one of them. Worked perfectly, lol.
