  • Rain Bird CP075 In-Line Automatic Sprinkler Valve, 3/4" Threaded Female Inlet x Female Outlet. Rain Bird manufactures
only the highest quality In-Line valves. This residential and light commercial grade In-Line valve replaces all in-line
irrigation valves installed below ground with 3/4" female threaded inlet and outlet. For use with any 24 volt AC
irrigation timer/controller. Unique reverse-flow design helps prevent flooding in the event of internal diaphragm
failure keeping the valve closed and saving water. Valve operates automatically or manually with manual bleed screw.
Buna-N (nitrile rubber) diaphragm offers superior performance in harsh water environments. Features an energy-efficient,
low power encapsulated solenoid with captured plunger. May be used with all types of watering devices including Rain
Bird spray heads, rotors, and impacts. In-Line valves are installed below ground in a valve box downstream from the main
line from a PVB or double-check valve. After installation and before startup, always flush the system of dirt and debris
manually using the valve's external bleed screw. In-Line valves will not prevent back flow on their own; they require a
back flow prevention device. Use In-Line valves in locations where the use of a pressure vacuum breaker (PVB) or a
double-check valve is required by city codes to protect against back flow. Check local city codes to determine what type
of valves are required. Also available (sold separately) in 1" model: CP100. Rain Bird “The Intelligent Use of Water”
