It replaces a Dell 21" monitor which didn't have HDMI, that was physically bigger than this MSI but because the bezels are slimmer it's slightly smaller. It's also lighter. Picture is bright and clear on the default settings so I have just left it on this. Tilts for adjustment and has a vesa mount for wall or a different stand mounting. Can't comment on suitability for gaming as I don't use it for that, also longevity is an unknown as I have only been using it three weeks.
