It doesn't have the dust that some has when you pour it out. It's very clean and does the job well. I like the bottles it comes in vs a bulkier container. For my storage setup it works nicely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend brand. Absolutely no product shortage found in any of the bottles. *by on Reviewed in the United States 14 February 2026* I switched lye brands after I realized another vendor was habitually under filling their bottles. So of course the first thing I did was weigh this lye. These bottles were also off a bit - but they were all slightly off in my favor. What a pleasant surprise. I will be using Essential Depot as my preferred vendor for all my future lye needs. I’ve only made one batch of cold process soap with this brand as of this review, but I had no complaints with the dissolving or the performance of these beads. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This took a couple of weeks to come in, but it was worth the wait. *by on Reviewed in the United States 21 January 2025* My wife makes all different types of soap and Lye aka sodium hydroxide is a basic, necessary ingredient. We used to get our lye from a couple of different big box stores, but this merchant offers the product at a very reasonable price and it's 100% pure lye crystals. Buying lye in larger quantities makes it much more affordable over time and we're very happy with this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - 9 lbs Food Grade Sodium Hydroxide Lye Evenly-Sized Micro Pels (Beads or Particles) - 9 x 1 lb Bottles - Lye Drain Cleaner - Majestic Pure Lavender Essential Oil with Glass Dropper | 100% Pure and Natural Lavender Oil | Premium Grade Essential Oils for Diffusers, Skin, Aromatherapy, Massage | 4 Fl Oz - 100% Pure Castor Oil - Cold-pressed, Unrefined, Hexane-free - Premium Quality - USP Grade (1 Gallon) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ae/products/679277452-9-lbs-food-grade-sodium-hydroxide-lye-evenly-sized-micro](https://www.desertcart.ae/products/679277452-9-lbs-food-grade-sodium-hydroxide-lye-evenly-sized-micro) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Arab Emirates* *Store origin: AE* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
