La desventaja es que a grande la tina de lavado, por lo que requieres mucho alcohol para lavar las piezas pero obviamente dura más si usar resinas de un solo color y no de colores obscuros para que no se tiña el alcohol. En cuanto a la luz, es de gran utilidad las para el proceso de foto curado ya que permite fotopolimerizams más en dos niveles.
