Review: Great frame, easy to build, ideal for space saving. - Super easy to assemble, ideal for the space in which it occupies, my son has his computer desk, chair and PC setup under it, the only downside is the ladder rungs are square and can be a little annoying under foot, especially if you are a larger person. Frame is good quality, all fits very well, little effort needed, no shoving or forcing required like some self assembled stuff, relatively stable, even without the wall mounting brackets provided, but would highly recommend using them if you are not, like myself, setting up a heavy PC and desk to help support it as being light aluminium means it might be a little wobbly, but that being said, my 16 year old son who is 6 foot tall and weighs 90KG has no problem with it.

Super easy to assemble, ideal for the space in which it occupies, my son has his computer desk, chair and PC setup under it, the only downside is the ladder rungs are square and can be a little annoying under foot, especially if you are a larger person. Frame is good quality, all fits very well, little effort needed, no shoving or forcing required like some self assembled stuff, relatively stable, even without the wall mounting brackets provided, but would highly recommend using them if you are not, like myself, setting up a heavy PC and desk to help support it as being light aluminium means it might be a little wobbly, but that being said, my 16 year old son who is 6 foot tall and weighs 90KG has no problem with it.

Got this for a renovation to the bedroom. I had no space to extend in any direction but up, so I started researching loft beds. Used to sleep in bunk beds, so the notion wasn't new. This frame ticked the boxes - being both durable and sturdy, but also fitting within the confined space I had to work with. It was also rated for a heavier weight than some others. It was tight, courtesy of my wardrobe having to sit flush beside it, but that tightness helps keep everything sturdy. Without modification, it would be perfectly fine for a teenager. The model I opted for didn't come with a table or anything beneath, so budget for that if your looking this for the same reason I did: a gaming area below where I sleep. We did modify it a good bit, however. My brother's a joiner by trade and a general handyman besides. We ended up cutting six inches off each leg, dropping the overall height of the frame which, coupled with a 6 inch mattress, gave me enough space to sit up in bed without knocking myself out on the ceiling. Changing the sheets can be a pain in the rear at times, but more than doable. Below, he built in two chest of drawers and ran a countertop over them that ran the entire length of the frame. This was all screwed together to the frame itself, which added a great deal of support. The frame barely moves at all even when I'm climbing in or out. Now, I'm not a spry teenager. I'm an adult in his early 30s, and the modifications made it far more sturdy and rigid, so take that into consideration. Even with the modification to the height, there's plenty of room beneath. The countertop my brother put in holds a 32in gaming monitor, my various consoles, a second monitor, a slew of plugs to service all the electronics, and a lamp. There's even space for a gaming chair and a pull-out tray for a keyboard and mouse. Assembly of the frame itself without modifications took my brother and I roughly 2 hours, and we actually had a little bag of spare screws left over. Normally its the opposite and you end up missing screws or the like. The modifications and additives below took more time, but that's to be expected.
