I planted the seeds from all of them a week ago, and half of them have already sprouted and are growing well. I'm a newbie gardener (really green, hah, get it?), and the kits were easy and fun with good instructions. Very happy with this! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great Customer Service - Kit Issues Might Be User Error! *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2015* Editing review: To anyone used to traditional peat or soil, be aware that the peat in this kit is very absorbent and retains moisture very well. Don't cover your seedlings to sprout them- make sure you have squeezed out excess moisture thoroughly before planting the seeds and place in a warm, well-ventilated area. I had some fungus issues and problems with the seeds not growing because I am used to germinating seeds differently! The coriander is growing like gangbusters but everything else either barely sprouted or didn't sprout at all. The seller got in contact with me, though, with some tips and is sending me a new kit to try again! Excellent customer service.Original Review: The kit was complete and everything in order. The seeds germinated quickly- within 4-7 days. The soil smelled a little off, and after planting and leaving to germinate on the kitchen table with plenty of air circulation, it developed a bit of white fungus on all of the pots. I scraped it off and stuck them under a warm sun lamp for a few days, and the mold came back again. I'm going to have to wait to transplant them until after they're big enough. I have planted several plants in the climate with my own soil and never had this issue so I'm guessing it was a problem with their compost mixture.
