**Q: How does this compare to the original Atlas Marcato Clamp?**
A: The original Marcato Clamp has a smaller opening.  This clamp has a 4" wide opening, allowing it to work on a thicker kitchen table or work surface than the original Atlas Marcato pasta maker clamp.  Thanks for your question!  Susan

**Q: What's the maximum opening dimension of the clamp?**
A: A little less than 4 inches.

**Q: WIll this work wit a Altea lusso 160?**
A: This is a universal clamp, I have used it on several different brands and it works just fine. You will need to make sure you have a “lip” on your counter but it works fine for me.

**Q: Will this work on an imperia pasta maker?**
A: It should fit most Imperia models, but we haven't tested them all.  You can return it for a full refund if it doesn't fit, however.  Please let us know how it works out for you.  Susan

This is exactly the pasta machine clamp I was needing. Not only is it basically universal to pasta machines, but I'm a huge fan of the cereal large clamp. It makes it so easy for me to change my work station if I need to (thick granite counters or thinner table). It also has a lifetime warranty which is awesome! Highly recommend this pasta clamp!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit for good price

The clamp for my Atlas Mercado (a Deluxe Atlas Pasta Queen I bought years ago) is too shallow for my newer 2" mitered edge counters. I found this one with a wider opening and it fits perfectly. So, I won't have to clamp the machine to a chair or have someone hold it down, neither one of which is a great solution. It's about 1" deeper. My only gripe is that the handle is not as advertised. The advertised model is all metal and this one has a plastic handle. That aside, I'm very happy I found this, and the price was quite reasonable.
