I adjusted the chain that goes under the boot by using my own, draping the too-long one supplied with the boot across the front. Possibilities are endless for adding more chains across the front, around the back if you have the materials to individualize and amp up the look. Hope this company considers offering harness straps in buckskin, red, blue, white. That might be asking a bit much, perhaps offer custom colors even if it might cost a bit extra; maybe limited edition products from time to time. At the very least perhaps buckskin/tan. We all know how annoying it is when your watch band comes out of its securing band and catches on everything or starts to curl up. Similar annoyance here. My style is a little cowboy/rocker/goth and the leather, clasp, and chain fit that motif perfectly. They're a bit on the expensive side, but at least they're made in the USA. The chain that goes on the underside of the boot was a little long so just take some pliers and cut off the excess. Fit perfectly after taking off about six links.
