## Description

The Objective2 (O2) is an open source amplifier designed by NwAvGuy, focusing on benchmark performance and low cost. The end product is a solid, uncolored amplifier that boasts some of the best measured performance in it's category. It's performance rivals models that are several times more expensive and can drive any headphone on the market regardless of impedance or sensitivity. This model includes a new black aluminium case, brushed aluminium front and rear panels and a rubber volume knob. Includes a 120v US type plug power supply and rear power modification. Each unit is hand made and individually tested before shipping to guarantee full working condition. If you have any problems with the amplifier please contact us to troubleshoot. Please note: The power supply is rated for 110-120 volt electricity, will not work in countries with 220-240 mains without a step down voltage adapter.

**Q: Does this amplifier include the two batteries?**
A: No, it just comes with a power supply.

**Q: Does this need a DAC in order to work properly?**
A: It needs an analog signal.  So you could connect it directly to your computer using your computer’s headphone port. But I strongly recommend buying a DAC and connect it to your computer through A USB port.  The O2 is an excellent amp.  Adds no color to the music.  And there is absolutely no noise.  I use the Topping D10 DAC, available on Amazon for about US$90.  The O2 is a great amp if your looking for an amp that lets you hear the music the way the arist and album producer intended it to sound.  Also, it has enough power to comfortably drive headphones with as much as 600 ohms immedance.

**Q: is there any difference between this amp and the Massdrop O2 Amp?**
A: Hope this helps. I needed to drive Massdrop Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Headphones 150 ohms impedance this would not drive without distortion on games and music at standard gain (under 300 ohms). The massdrop 02 is great if pared with the massdrop DAC. Really consider your impedance.

**Q: Will it work good with audeze lcd 3 (110 ohm) and sennheiser hd 800 s (300 ohm) ?**
A: Yes it will easily drive both headphones.
