But if you'd like a corkscrew that's durable, works well and looks good, splurge and get this for about the same as a decent bottle of wine.

**Q: Does this cut the foil?**
A: It definitely cuts the foil. The curved blade is designed to contour to the curve of the bottle (not perfectly, but as much as you would want). With this wine key, I can cut the foil in 2 cuts, vs 3 with most wine keys.
