I have extremely oily skin, and often skincare products make me produce more oil, especially moisturizers and sunscreens. Recently I had to switch up my skincare routine because I discovered I had rosacea, and the products I was using literally made my makeup melt off my face by the end of my workday. It was disgusting and embarrassing. I decided to try this product on a whim after reading some reviews, and boy am I glad I did. I still do my regular routine, but I put this powder on after I apply my sunscreen and it dries up my face nicely. It is a little gritty, so once I’m done applying it, I make sure to take a powder brush and wipe off any excess. Next, I apply my makeup as usual, and it mattifies my makeup, though it looks natural, not cakey. I finish with a setting powder and setting spray like I normally do, and it lasts all day long. I do produce some oil during the day, but it’s hardly anything compared to before. This stuff does an amazing job at stopping my excess oil.
