I’m assuming this won’t work for that, will it?** A: You will not be able to see the egg timer when boiling eggs in the microwave oven. The egg timer does not produce any alarm sounds. You have to visually observe when the color changes to the desired marking to stop the cooking process. We did not design the egg timer to work in the microwave.
