I didn’t want to hang it directly to the wall so opted to buy some brackets designed to support screens to keep it a few inches out. It does say in the directions to make sure the screen is not rubbing against anything as you let it down or up as it could damage the screen. Because I opted to let it hang from an S hook that was going to happen because of the weight and balance of the frame was making it tilt. So my work around was to add some picture frame wire to both sides to make the screen not rub on the edge. Overall I’m very pleased with this screen. I had a painted screen for the longest time but we repainted the room and wanted a cleaner look and this fit the bill. I probably could have gone with the larger screen but 100” is a pretty good size. Recommended! Just got to find a better placement for the projector to fill the screen, the set up is in a small room. It looks great no wrinkles, easy to set up, quite sturdy once it set in place. Much easier to pull this up or down than to set up a stand and clip fabric screen onto it. That process was always difficult, required help and needed to be weighed down. This screen can easily move to the patio and hang from the pergola. It’s not too heavy for one person to handle or hang. The first one arrived without hardware and was dented. The seller responded quickly and replaced it.
