If they tell you to pay for a bunch of classes then you will know they have no idea. The best way to learn is to just get your hands dirty and learn what you need to learn as you need to learn it. After I fully train my employees on overall continuous improvement philosophy (and leadership), I give them this pocketbook. This book gives you just enough of a starting point on each topic such that someone can take it and run/walk/crawl with it. It’s not rocket science! Empower your people by teaching them that!

Lean is SIMPLE. This pocketbook is SIMPLE. Ask any self proclaimed “guru” how you should begin learning about Lean.
