Product description ------------------- NOW ** MEDICALLY DISINFECTED AND SEALED ** This is a wireless Alarm Mat for the elderly and for Dementia Care patients. The Care@Home IP-100s Mat-On-Guard is used by a carer who looks after a patient at home. It is used in elderly care for falls accident prevention and warning. The electronic pressure pad is placed on the floor at the base of the patient's bed or in their room exit and it warns the carer when the patient gets out of bed or attempting to leave their room. The Mat-On-Guard IP-100s comes with one portable receiver and it is cordless (wireless). The pager (receiver) can be up to 150 meters from the Mat. Additional pager (Portable and/or Plug-in) can be added to the system if required at a later date. The Pressure Mat must be covered with a protective doormat, of some sort, before usage, in order to prevent slippage.
