So my niece just enjoyed playing with it so much I guess she forgot that it was suppose to talk. But after a month later, go figure, my little niece comes running to grandma to tell her, It works, grandma! It works! My sister didn't believe her for a minute. So she went to where my little niece was and sure enough the house was talking. And my little niece said, you see grandma, I told you it worked. The front door also snaps on and off a little to easily. Either way, my daughter loves this house and the furniture. She uses some furniture for an "outside patio" but loves it all.
